This pales from my last 21km when i did it last Dec. But well, i got to start somewhere and it’s time to gear up once more!
Had a weekend stay at Merchant Court and acted like a tourist (for a day).
Oh and i bumped into Tay Liming.

Work has really caught up with me recently and have cause quite a disruption to the timetable.
Time table? *laughs*
i guess i had a time table…
I managed sit down and reflect what happen in the last 6 months after moving to the new office.
Design projects poured in and set a record high of 31 simultaneous projects. Work was piled out of hand. Projects starts to accumulated and signs of chokes begins to show.
No problem and the lookout for the best designers beings. Shortlisted and engaged.
Projects continues to accumulates. No problem. Round two of shortlisting and engaged another talent. Edifice was growing.
But my involvement increases as well. Project managing, liaising with clients, back to back meetings and eventually the daily schedule came down to, meetings during the day and paper work during the night.
Often my day was stolen from me without me realising that it’s past 9pm and i’m still on my desk.
Packed up, head home, shower and… laptop gets turn on and emails continues to go.
Personal communication with team gets reduced, expansion plans was shelved, felt that the weekly dinner with family could be postponed and spent lesser time with them.
Today, i felt that my anger management was affected too as i’ve noticed my temper on the road (or were there too many kuku drivers on weekends?) gets shorten.
Despite the challenges, i am still glad Kenix is always there for me, cracking the most unexpected jokes and always understanding. She just got us a weekend getaway at Merchant Court. Sweet and always thoughtful.
Lastly, F**ked all the odds as i look forward to my supposedly and cleverly ’system’ to be in place on the 1st July by weeding small projects, startups, C class clients and duplicating of a mirror image of myself (Guess how!).
36 to do list pending… well…. BRING IT ON!
There have been lots of ongoing happenings and time haven’t been permiting me to blog recently.
And i almost don’t know where to start…
Well, let’s take a trip back to Dec 07 after the Standard Charted 21km run.
Shortly after that, Edifice relocated to Orchard Plaza where expenditures of moving, renovating and agent fees goes deep into the pockets.

After which came christmas! (Holy smoke, updating a post in April on a x’mas happening)

After which there was a mini competition to FIGHT for the mystery prize.
Well…Rukshan proves to have the most stable hands among all of us and he brought home the sleek 4Gb IPod Nano!
